Groms & family alike.

If a total Barney walks in do you treat him with the same respect as a full on loc?

Treat him the same, but when he walks out the door laugh your ass off at him.

What is the dumbest question a customer has ever asked?

“Does the zipper of my wetsuit go in the front or the back?”

Do you have a mascot (ex. - An animal that roams freely throughout the building)?

Ziggy Marley “the shop dog” and other local canine visitors because I pass out treats.

What is the craziest return a customer has ever tried to make?

A customer walked in and purchased a new surfboard 10 minutes before we closed and tried to return it the very next day when we first opened at 9:00 A.M. broken in two.

Have you ever had any type of celeb roll in and make a purchase?

From pro surfers to pro football players. Too many to even name.

How many days a week do you surf now compared to before you owned/managed a surf shop?

Before this winter every day, but not as much this past winter since there has been a lack of good swell.

Pat O’Connell, Shane Dorian

Has a customer trying on clothes ever walked out completely naked?

Has a person ever walked in totally blitzkrieged (really intoxicated) and tried to make a purchase? If so elaborate.

Yes.

Every store has to deal with shoplifting. What is your most memorable experience and what is your shoplifting policy?

Yes. We just take them in the back and shoot’em (with the hose).
